Sunni is a poet, writer, and amazing author. She began writing at the age of 14 and has not stopped writing since. Poetry lead her to her true passion, composing books. What sparked this passion you might ask? Sunni was asked to write poetry for numerous special occasions and events. Her continuous writing fed her desire to write books. Sunni’s specialty is children’s books.
Sunni comes from a family of educators and it doesn’t stop with just her! For the last 20 years, Sunni has been working with children in some capacity. Sunny is currently working on a series of books entitled The Village. She attributes her love of writing, both stories and poetry, to her love of reading. Reading was instilled in Sunni at a very early age. As a result, she now strives to not only instill that same love of reading in children but give them the support and encouragement. She wants children to believe that they too can create their own literary works and become the authors of their own destinies.
When Sunni is not reading or writing, she is doing more creative work. She enjoys sewing and other forms of clothing making. Sunni is currently residing in North Carolina.
